CAVATINA by John Russell with David Hartley

Post by David Hartley »

Hi All.

John (Jack) Russell came over last night, without his Franklin, but with his Fender Stratocaster guitar.

This is what we came up with..

Thank you David; you seem to be able to play any style and it's most enjoyable. Of course I begin to watch some of your other videos and this time on some of your videos, in the beginning, there's an ad. I think that it's great.

Hi

Thanks Ol' Fred... Ol' John ain't too bad, is he?

We are going to try another guitar/steel instrumental soon.

He is welcome here anytime, as he buys me steak! And occasionally brings my Franklin steel over, ain't that right John...?

Dave, John, :D
While you guys were slapping each other on the back???, I just want to get in here, :D and say that this rendition, is one of the most beautiful pieces displayed, that I have heard of that theme, from that movie. Mr. Russell, this is the very first time that I`ve heard you play. You sir, are a master.
Dave, well, what more can be said of your blending that sweet beautiful touch, and tone, that you have been blessed with! I truly hope that the two of you will do more together. Be blessed my friends.

That was awesome. One you can sit back and close your eyes and just feel it. See you in Dallas.
