What version of I.E. do you have? If you don't have I.E.9, upgrade to I.E.9 and then see if it will work OK.

I.E.9 is recommended, anyway, as it has improved security.

Adobe Flash was just updated this afternoon. Please make sure you are downloading Flash from Adobe.com and that it is the correct version for you browser and operating system.

Use the 32 bit I.E. version. The 64 bit is not compatible with some add-ons. If you are using the 64 bit version that may be the problem.

Download and run the free ccleaner. Run the "cleaner" part and then the Registry Cleaner.

I'm not a big fan of registry "cleaner/repair" programs but ccleaner works OK.

After you get done, restart the PC and then try to install.

will do but in the meantime, i have a question
why do the videos work on google chrome and not ie ?
some one told me to install that browser and see what happened .well they do work on it but not ie which i like much better or i did at least until i switched to win 7. i have always loved the yahoo tool bar and all its convenence . it makes my favorite sites easier to find than google

i hear a lot of guys complaining about ie sucurity but i never had any problems and always really liked it

Calvin;
The version of Flash used in Internet Explorer is known as an ActiveX Control. This is different than the version supplied with Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. Because IE is also part of the Windows operating system, upgrading its components almost always requires you to reboot the computer.

I would uninstall Adobe Flash, then follow Jack's instructions for using CCleaner, reboot, then try to install Flash again. Make sure that the version offered is the ActiveX version for Internet Explorer.

Finally, only obtain Flash at Adobe.com! Malware authors and purveyors offer fake versions of Flash Player which are known malware backdoors and downloaders
