quater note triplets

Post by Ken Lang »

Does anyone know the secret to make quarter note triplets in both chords and single notes?

Ken,
I put this up on my site a while back and it was done for version 2006 but it should still be good enough to get you going.

Thank you, George. I should have known to check your site.
While I'm here, there are certain old time RnR songs that use quarter note triplets, rhythm and all, as in "Only the lonely" by Roy Orbison. Can I do that type of thing in BIAB?

Hi Ken.
You may have to create your own style as I don't know all of the styles that are available.
I have found very few songs that I could not come up with a backing track for using BIAB.
Remember I'm a very lazy person so I would search the internet for a midi file of the song I want and then bring that into BIAB before I ever create a track from scratch.
That being said, I can only remember 2 times that I actually had to create my own style for a song I was doing.
BIAB is a pretty powerful program and you should be able to create most anything you want with it.

I kinda figured that was the way to go. To create your own style. I have listened to a great many styles till my head spins, and there are hundreds I have yet to listen to. None of them have what I'm looking for. I'll have to get on the learn to make your own bandwagon. Thanks for the help.
