How do I "lighten" up my photos?

Post by Jerry Hayes »

I'm having a problem with some photos I post as they're too dark. On my old computer when I had a dark photo I'd just right click on the picture and a box would come up with options and I'd click on "edit"... Then the screen would have a bunch of options at the top and one of them would be to make the picture darker or lighter. My new computer with Windows 7 doesn't have that. If I click on the edit function it comes up but there's no place to darken or lighten a photo. I can resize it, change some colors and some other things but no way to lighten up the shots.. Anyone know a way to do that?........Thanks, JH in Va.
Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!!

The free google Picasa has some editing capabilites. Google also has an on-line picture editor.

I've tried Irfanview and could never really do anything with it.
