We offer our prayers and deepest sympathy for your loss, Mrs. Oliver. Donna DoddMy husband Lynn Oliver was a member of the steel guitar forum although I am not aware of how active he was. I wanted to let the forum know that he died very unexpectedly on November 18 from massive brain injury caused by blood clots in both lungs. He collapsed at home on November 14 with difficulty breathing and was taken to the hospital. He never regained consciousness and passed away 4 days later while I held his hand and bluegrass music played in the background. He leaves behind a sorrowful wife of 36 years and two lonely sons, 14 and 28.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear about Lynn. He was a nice guy, very intelligent. I taught him once at the dobro workshop in Port Townsend. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP Lynn.

My sincere sympathy to Mrs Oliver and sons. I purchased
a few steel guitar parts from him thru the forum some time back.
He was a very honorable man to deal with. He will be missed but remembered.

I was unaware of Lynn's passing until today when I was looking for,
the post he created dealing with the sale of his tweed Fox Vintage tweed amp which I purchased only because he permitted me to pay by installments. He was a trusting guy.
Very late condolences to his wife and two boys. I feel Lynn was the type of guy I wish I'd gotten to know. As for the amp, which I still own, I Have named it "Oliver". Stevet
