Anthology's BIAB of Blue Jade

Post by Lynn Fargo »

Hi All,
Not sure where to post this, but I'm in need of a backup track for the "Anthology of PSG" (DeWitt Scott) version of Blue Jade, with the guitar solo smoothly omitted. I have BIAB and the needed equipment, I just don't have the time to make it. I'm wondering if anyone proficient in BIAB would have time to do this for me. I could pay a little for your efforts. I'm so disappointed this course didn't come with a backup track, cuz there are a couple of good tunes on there I'd like to record over. I could send the original track if you don't have it, and might be interested in getting 2 other tracks from it made, as well.
Thanks, Lynn

Yep, thank you, got it. But my 'puter won't open the download.

I actually made a BIAB track of this last year, but I don't like it. It was my first trial with BIAB. Since then I've gotten the instructions available here for the program, but really don't have the time to mess with it yet. I'm so looking forward to retirement in a couple of years!

Bob,
I'm gonna try to find some time to work on them. I'll let you know when I come up with something. Hope you're patient, though.

Thanks to all who contributed. It's a great start. I have to try to find some time to get them to sound more realistic, but your contributions were definitely appreciated.

P.S. Anybody know how to slow down the ending? I know it's on that BIAB instruction CD, but I haven't had a chance to go though that yet.

Guess I'll start another thread for that, also.

Thanks again!

I have resent the email this time to your private address.
Sometimes we (on the other side of the globe) do things on the forum when the servers are obviously busy backing up etc. so input sometimes is lost or confused but as long as we are aware of it it's not a problem.

Hi Jim,
Received the e-mail. Nothing in my message box, though, since March.
Guess I still have my work cut out for me, so I'll have to put this tune back on the back burner for awhile.
Thanks so much to all,
Lynn

I have a reasonable BIAB file done for Blue Jade but I need your home email address to send it as the forum system doesn't accept attachments. Just email me back on my PM. Your return address is safe - I am an IT tech and a security "tragic".
The file is quite small so it will email fine. I hope your BIAB has the same samples in it - I don't know what version you have but mine is 10.5.
You can modify the file by selecting other styles should you prefer something different.

Blue jade backing

I am happy to send any forum member this BIAB file and alter it any way to their liking (speed, key, instruments used) however as I posted before I need you to send me a Personal Email so I have a direct address to send it to. In return I would appreciate either some feedback though or acknowledgement that you received the file also.
