Another Wiz question

In trying to load Malwarebytes my son sent me to a site that promised it but gave me ARO 2012 instead. It found 1,500
problems but said it fixed 100 and I needed to buy it for the rest.

I got malwarebytes thru your site and it found 7, which were fixed.

My question is what do you think of ARO 2012? Worth keeping the free version, of just delete it?

I do get tired of some sites that say they have something but in actuality give you something totally different.

I would uninstall ARO if it happened to me. Then I would run System Restore to a prior time, just to be sure it was gone.

Thanks Wiz. I checked on ARO. It's apparently a pretty good program. I'll hold on to it for awhile.

If you believe that your computer "needs" a Registry cleaner, why pay for one that displays a thousand errors but only fixes 100 when you can have one that fixes all errors at no charge? CCleaner has a Registry cleaner with backups for safety sake, a temp file cleaner, an uninstaller and a start-up program controller.

I have CCleaner as well. I have another I've had for a long time, Uniblue. Despite what others have said, I've had a registry cleaner take my computer from barely functioning to working, tho it took all night.

Whatever, I'll not buy ARO, but use the free ones that work.
