Computer Interface with modeling and play along capability
Our family has recently moved into a smaller house. It will be difficult to play with amplification and not disturb the family. I have been researching computer audio interface with systems that incorporate amp/effect modeling and iTunes or Mp3 play along capability. I found several options - each with some level of love/hate from users. I am not a techie...I just need something easy to plug in and easy to use. Anyone got some good layman's information to help me decide which way to go? Thanks much...

Tom,
Have you looked at the Fender Mustang series amps? I have the Mustang IV, good amp for playing out, also has built in modeler, interface for computer recording, CD,MP3 player input, headphone input for privacy. I had a Behringer V-Amp processor that worked very well, a pain to setup (for me anyway) finally got it to sound like I wanted, but got a deal on the Fender IV.
