glad you posted that clip. nice to hear jr and bring me back to gary's 'real' music. then i clicked on 'quits', a favorite of mine....heavy honky tonk soul with no bubblegum.
that messed my whole day up!
the dean dillon/gary stewart collaboration days brought some beautiful bittersweet tunes.
..of course the earlier gary stuff is the real raw deal..
And Jr. What effect were you using in that first clip?

Opened for Gary in the mid nineties at Coupland Dance Hall. His manager asked if we wanted to meet him in between our set and his and when we went to meet him two guys were holding him up. We were thinking how was he going to play. They brought him onstage, put on his les paul jr., the music starts and it was like there was nothing wrong. The man wrote some great songs, definitely the real deal. Too bad he lived the songs he wrote. On another note loved Dave Biller's guitar playing on Rosie Flores version of Room Above the Street from the Wandering Eyes cd
Stereo chorus! Great effect in the right place and you put it there. Thanks Junior!
