How to program Intro Pickup for "MISTY"

Post by Ray Mangrum »

O.K. Guys & Gals, I not to "Buff"with this program and need some help, matter of fact a lot of help.
I want to have the Rythmn come in at 4 &, in the key of Bb7. Then into Eb Maj7, 1 1/2 beats as I see it, but can't figure out how to accomplish. Thank you for any assistance.

Are you wanting to start on bar 4 or beat 4?

Sorry for lack of info, I want to start on beat 4.
The Intro I believe is: 1-2-3, 4 would be the 1st pickup, Bb13, the & of the 4 beat would be Eb. Thank You, Ray

C. indicates a C chord that is a rest. A chord followed by a period. To get 2 chords in a box type in the first one followed by a comma, then the second one. To start on beat 4, type in the first box of the measure Bb. followed by a comma, then Bb. again. In the second box type in Bb. followed by a comma, then Bb13/Eb I think this is what you are asking for. The Bb chords should show up in red.
I hope this helps.
