Playing with Justin Hines and Jill Hennessy

Post by Doug Johnson »

In the summer of 2011 I did a session for Justin Hines. A young Canadian singer/songwriter who is very inspirational. They brought Jill Hennessy in for background vocals as a special guest. If you are a Law and Order fan you will recognize Jill immediately. I hope you enjoy what Justin and Jill have done. The session was produced by Canadian Idol guitarist Justin Abedin.

You are right about Justin Hines. Very nice song and I thought you did a great job - just enough and no more which is probably what they were looking for.

Wow, What a voice! Great song by Justin. Nice musical production as well. Tasteful steel playing there.
What kind of guitar were you playing there Doug?

Thanks for having a look/listen you guys. Yes Bent and Gus that is my MCI Range Expander and it does have the orignal Barcus Berry's in it. I never had to swap them out, I love the sound of that guitar. It gets alot of work. Thanks again.
