lost my password

I lost the password assigned to me before I could replace it with one of my own...is there a way to retreive it...if I log out now I can't get back on...thx
30 yrs in music but a total novice on pedal steel...Can you get training wheels for a GFI Student Model?

What Operating system do you have? It does make a difference.

I believe it's the current version of windows

Do a google search for "Windows 7 password" and you will find many sites that claim to be able to recover or get around the password.

Microsoft's Official stance is, if you don't have a password reset disc you will have to reinstall Windows. Consider, if there was a (legal?) way to recover there would be no need for a password as anyone could get into your PC with that software.
