What Child is This Help
I am trying to do a backing track in BIAB for What Child is This and it is in 6/8 time but I cannot get the 6/8 timing to work out. Any suggestions on what I need to do? Thanks, Landon.

I found this on Amazon.com but it doesn't say what key it's in. You can always use a sound editing program to change the key though. Click Here

Landon, I've never found a good 6/8 in BIAB either. I have put in a few songs that were supposed to be 6/8 and actually entered them in 3/4. A little tricky, and not as smooth as true 6/8, but it is workable.
If anyone has a better idea, I'd LOVE to hear about it too.

I finally got a backing track laid out for What Child Is This I use a country waltz and used 2 measures for one 6/8 measure. I think it turned out pretty good. If anyone would like a copy of it just send me your email and I will send it to you. Let me know what format you would like (MP3, WAV, or BIAB)

My granddaughter wanted to learn it on piano, so I printed up the sheet music at this site:

It appears to be in 3/4 time.

To me, the difference between 3/4 and 6/8 is whether or not there's a downbeat in the middle of the measure. I hear this song as 3/4.

I've seen sheet music in both time signatures, I'm with B0B though, sounds better to me in 3/4.
