My attempt at another of "Papa" John's greats

Post by Mike Wilson »

I really like John's work so I thought I'd give this a try. Keep in mind, It's not in a studio, it's in my basement, so it is what it is. Also, my technique may not exactly perfect as it should be, and oh yeah, sorry about the Harley Davidson blanket hanging on the wall. It will probably distract some from the music, but try not to let it. Hope you enjoy. Just click on the link. http://youtu.be/8Q3RbNdj06g Kindly Keep It Country

Very nice Mike. That's the way I like to hear songs played.
Listening to great players like you, always makes me practice
more, and hope someday I might play at least half that good. :) Carl

Thanks to all who listened and commented.

Pete- No train wrecks, but trains sure keep me away
from doing things I love to do.

Carl- Thanks, appreciate the comment, you'll do fine

Joe- You won't be stealing my licks, those are
John's. You're right I do need a vacation.
Won't be before the snow flies though.

Rudy- Thank you for the compliment and you're welcome.

Rick- Thanks. I appreciat the compliment.

Charlie- Thanks for the compliment. The G2
definitley has it.

Ray W.- Thanks. That's a great idea. We should meet
at Joe Sapp's again and jam for a weekend. Was
a great time the last time we did it.

Dick- Thanks and hope to see you soon.
