" Days To Be Proud Of ", Bishop Ronnie P. Hall

Post by Bishop Ronnie P Hall »

Hi My fellow steelers one and all!
A few days ago, a new challenge was presented to me in the form of a heart attack, and while laying there recuperating, I began to think about life, and how blessed I have been to be among as we say, "the land of the living". I began to think about how long I had been trying to play some kind of Steel Guitar music. I realized that after 58 years, I still dont know what I am doing. As I thought on this, a little voice spoke up and said "as long as you make someone happy, what are you concerned about?" Never the less, :) I quickly shut up right there, and said thank you. So here we go at least one more time to try and make somebody smile!
Oh! and one more thing. I want to thank bOb, and the more than 11,000 members of this forum that allowed me, and my unorthodox, rag tag way of playing to be a part of the greatest "Open Forum" in the world. For guys like me, and some of you, to express ourselves through the music we play is just "Magic"! To Del Grace, and the community, You have done me a great service. Thanks my son!
Be Blessed, one and all!

Hi ya bro. Clyde! (Mattocks)
I thank you for your prayers, and concern. It is just "Father Time" reminding us "all" in a way that one day we "all" will have a debt to pay. But in the meantime ole friend, let us "all" have fun, fun, fun, until then!!!!
Be Blessed My friend, and thanks again.

Hi Georg! :) (Sortun)
It indeed was, and is one among the happiest times of my life. I owe Bro. Del Grace a tremendous vote of gratitude for the work that he has done with this showcase. It is among the best of the "Hall of Fame" ackowledgements, and showcases of this kind.
And Thank you for your encouragement, it means a lot.
Be Blessed!

Hey Bro. Del!!! (Grace) :D
My son, my son, my son!
Thank you so much, for all that you have done for myself, and all of the "older" Sacred Steel Players, in the Sacred Steel community. For seventy-plus years this genre of music was virtually unknown, and many of the "Legends" would have been passed over, if it had not been for your "continued" effort to archive what we had brought to this community. Personally, you have done me a great service, by your efforts. I Thank you!
May God continue to bless your efforts!!! Much love to you, and family!
