Just upgraded from 2009.5 to Version 2011 WOW

I never thought an upgrade to 2011 would be such a difference. The sounds is as good as any band I played with. The drummer plays wonderful brushes and nevers slows down, the bass player slides up and down the upright bass and I can control the level of the guitar player.

The B3 organ with leslie sounds great.

The real instruments really sound incredible and the crappy midi stuff is gone for good.

Converting an existing song takes a few minutes but what a difference. Can't wait to spend more time with it.

Well worth the money..

I have 2009.5 and it doesn't handle holding a chord very well. The midi instruments sound just fine but the real instruments just cut off abruptly. Does the latest version do any better?

Andy,,I upgraded from 2009.5 to 2011, a few days ago.
The time stretching on the real instruments sounds
much better,,no warble or cut offs.

The Real Band version is still a mystery to me,,couldnt figure what its good for :?

The BB2011 is a great improvement :) Dont know about the Real Band thing??

I bought Powertracks many years ago and now they call it Realband and they give it to you free and they make no allowences for all of use who paid for that program.
It is easy to use for recording projects but I used it mainly for finding chords from any form of wav file and then enter the song into BIAB and build my own arrangement of the song then enter it back into Powertracks and add vocals, harmony and more instruments. The real advantage to Powertracks (Realband) is that you're not limited to a small band and you can save it all to individual tracks then drag and drop, copy and paste which at times was real handy in realigning the tracks.
There are just too many advantages to list here.
