HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOM, to Heaven. We miss you so much.

"With tearful eyes, I watched you saw you pass away. I could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me, He only ....takes the Best!..!!

I once heard him play here in Germany with the Desert Rose Band.
Chris Hillman said during the performance, that Tom was in the US army in this country in the 50's.
I will always remember him.

:) Rolene,
I think often of Tom, since I am always in search of his touch on steel. The very first time a steel made me cry was when I heard Tom play "A Maidens Prayer" on The Instrumental Hits Of Buck Owens And His Buckaroos record album I had when I got my first Sho Bud Steel. When Tom's chorus comes in it just lays you away. I know this season must be extremley hard on you and your family, I can only say thanks for all the years you shared Tom with all of us. God bless, and Happy Birthday Tom.

Rolene, I know how much you must miss Tom, as the loss of Tom has left a whole in everyone's heart. We will never forget Him. Hope you are doing O.K.
We're not going to make it to the Branson Christmas Steel guitar get together, as the weather doesn't look to promising. In God We Trust. Larry and Jean

Happy birthday Tom. You are truly missed. Rolene, Boo Miller blessed me with a set of Tom's picks and a bar last night. He told me you had given them along with some others to him. I will treasure them and they will go in my collection along side Hal, Weldon, Jeff and Curly's.

It was a real treat to have Tom as a member of OSGA & hear him perform at our Branson jams. We enjoyed him as a person as well & miss him very much.
