Kurt Youngstrand went home to Jesus
Kurt's brother, Mark just called me and said
Kurt just passed to the arms of Jesus just an
hour ago. He knew the Lord. And he loved
steel guitar. I will post arrangements as I know
them. Blessings

Thanks Albert,
I'll miss Kurt. He took lessons from me for a few years. He loved the steel so much. Kurt was one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet - I'm glad he was my friend. He used to always say 'thanks' and 'I appreciate it' - and you knew he really meant it. He valued every opportunity to learn, and improve his music. He was a generous soul.
Chuck taught him some too - he can vouch for me here... Kurt had a hard time with tempo
But dang he tried. I used to beat on his back in 4/4 time to keep him on track. So you know what he did?, he got some drums and took drum lessons to help with timing. Then he took vocal lessons to help with his pitch. And he did all that, to learn to be a better steel player.
Albert, he spoke of you often as his good friend, and also revered your playing, and shared your music with me.
Thanks for all the updates.
He'll be missed.
Dangit..
Chris
