BiaB as a Slave

Post by Steve English »

Can Biab be used as a "slave" (remotely started/sync by another sequencer, recorder, etc).

:?

Well yea, sort of - maybe.

Check out the "Conductor Window" Under the Main Menu "Windows" section. Or just type "Conductor Window" in the Help files.

This provides several different ways to "Remotely control" BIAB. It just depends on what you want to do and what types of MIDI Messages your "Master" can send.

Good luck, Bo baker

Steve,

To do what you want to do. Make midi files and play them in Power Tracks. You should have PT because it used to come standard with BIAB. In PT you can midi sync.

Thanks Rick,

I can't find Power Tracks anywhere on any of my disks. I am going to be getting Sonar soon and I think it will do the same thing.

Thanks for the work-around idea!

PowerTracks Pro Audio was bundled with BIAB. The filename is PTW.EXE.

I'm wondering if Power Tracks was bundled with only certain paks like mega pak etc. It didn't come with the basic BIAB Pro Version, as far as I am aware. But it's cheap enough to get on it's own.
