Amazing

Post by Bill Stroud »

That's my man, that is really good, looking forward in seeing you in ST Louis this year.
Hey Gary you've built a great sounding Steel that you made for David and he knows how to pull the sound out of it.
David keep up the great work, now I've got to get ready for our practice with the group tonight.
Someday I'll post one of my songs on the UTube, but I've never done it before so I'll have to learn how to post it.
Thanks for your great work,
Bill

Dave,

Another excellent performance! Your are England's #1 steel guitar ace, and among the best there are anywhere! Keep "em coming.

David, everything you do on that steel is just very moving and emotional to me. I don't imagine I would ever get tired of hearing you play. I would love to see you and Lloyd Green make an E9th CD like him and Tommy White did. They made a fantastic CD. It sounds and feels as though you are right there with them.

David, you topped yourself again. To take such a simple little tune and make a thing of pure beauty out of it, takes a lot of talent.

I agree wholeheartedly with Rick Nicklas' suggestion

I Dallas I found out David is just as good in person as he is on the tube. There are no tricks, just good picking.

Well David, just when I think that you've maxed out, you raise the bar again. Yeah, I'd sure like to have the tab for this one too! Thank you.

David I hope that you will tab this one soon. I can develop a version of my own, but once I do that, it's difficult to relearn. This was a big hit of Hank Locklin's. I met Hank in England years ago, and he was just a super nice guy. I remember his mother. She lived just down the road from my in-laws. Ah, the good old days.

Rains should be paying you to promote their steel guitars. Man, no one one I have heard can get that tone out of a steel like you can.
