Guys and girls, I got the job! From 14 oktober and on, I will be teaching pedal-steelguitar at a musicschool in Herveld,Holland. I will start with approx. 30 students. As far as I know this is the first job for a pedalsteelplayer ever in Europe. I'm bussy preparing my lessons now and hope to keep at least one lesson ahead of my students!

Hi Martin,
no, Herveld is a small town in my neighbourhood. I bring all my students in there, but I have all the facilities upthere that a music-school has, also theory-teachers, a nice cantine, and I don't have to chase my money and they do good advertising..

Ahoy Johan,
Congratulations. I am sure you will do a fine job with your steelers... after all, you were teaching primary school before, right? ;>)
Seriously, be sure to post a report every now and then on the Forum: your general approach, are there tests or quizzes, what works and doesn't work, etc.
Groetjes,
Chris
