Sincere condolences, Dan. I know your dad had to be proud to have you continue in his footsteps and to do it so well. Like so many that remember Kenny, it was always a welcome encounter at Scotty's or when he came to Ohio and Kentucky shows.

May he rest in peace. Or, put another way, while he's sitting on his ass, we'll be sitting on his seat. He leaves a legacy in our steel guitar community.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss Dan. As I type this message I am looking at one of his side kick seats sitting under my steel in my den.

I had the privilege of visiting with Ken at one of the Dallas Shows a few years back and he was truly a gentleman.

Dan and Family, We are all very sorry to hear about the lose of Kenn. Seems like a lot of the steelers are leaving. We were the same age and he always had a good outlook on life and showed it every time I saw him. He leaves the kind of legacy that anyone would be proud to. Travis

Dan, so sorry to read the news on Kenn. He was a one-of-a-kind for sure and was not only a good friend, he was one of the best persons I have ever dealt with. As I know you are, you have every right to be very proud of him. I salute a fine man and your family will be in my prayers Dan.

I have such a heavy heart with the loss of a dear friend. Ken is with the lord now and not suffering any more. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as we say good bye to our dear friend. He will never be forgetten because every time I sit down behind my steel to play I will think of him. I am so blessed to be able to say that Ken was a dear friend to me. Rest in peace my friend. You have earned it.
