..sang in church from the age of 5 until high school,then sang in musicals...never have stopped singing, especially in the car..

..played trumpet in grade school..my dad always told me to go outside and pracice..

..picked up an electric guitar at about 14,learned some chords..picked up an acoustic six string at 18, started finger picking..

...frittered away the next 24 years on mind altering substances, actual learning was arrested and limited to rote memorization of a relatively small repertoire..

..at 42 made a determination to get back in condition to learn something, gradually picked up six string again...at 46 began the journey into pedal steel guitar and started my musical education fresh...will clearly still be learning if I live to be 146..
