Not only do I send in a donation when I sell something in the Byy & Sell, I always order a CD or something and everyone should do the same.
Hey bOb, anything we can do to support the forum is OK with me. I wouldn't be as far along in my playing without the information & education I received in the Steel Guitar Forum.

Hi I am a new guy here. I just wanted to say that I am so happy to be here. I started toying with the steel guitar back in 1980. I played mostly weekends and worked during the weeks at a real job. I learned my first steel guitar stuff from a book that Dewitt Scott had written. I live in the southeast corner of Kansas and was never ever privileged with finding any other players to assisst in my endeavor for learning the steel. In just the last few months I have become aware of the Steel Guitar Forum, and may I say what a difference it has made for me. I worked 15 years as a paramedic and due to stress and alcohol I gave up the work. The only other thing I know is music. In all the years that I have tried to play the steel, this year was the first year I have been able to attend a steel guitar jamboree. I went to the Dallas show and took Jeff Newmans class also. I was so fired up when I got home I pulled my poor old LDG out of the case and within just hours was finding things that I have never been able to play before. What a difference other steelers have made in my recent life. I recently was able to purchase a zum D-10 guitar. I am in love again.... Just recently I posted a request on material for the beginner c6th. and I got tons of material off the internet. Well I have gotten long winded and in closing I just want to say thanks to Bob and all you great steelers out there,, your the best.. I sure dont want to see the site go under. I am sending a donation as soon as I can.
