Smooth and uncluttered, that's the way I like it!
Sometimes folks think you have to put every move and run you know into every song, but I always like to keep it simple and full of expression.
Congrats on a great job.

Reggie, That is absolutely "Beautiful." I hate to use such an over-used term for it, but it is just so nice and "pretty." We don't hear too many things that non-musician folks like, and at the same time, musicians can listen to and enjoy. I've always held the opinion that commercial music played with "taste" is not the easiest thing to pull off. Reggie, you definately NAILED this one. Great Job!!!!!!

Bobby, thanks! Playing at a restaurant every week, most of the people that hear me are not steel players. When they buy my product, they expect to recognize the song. On this Christmas album, I ventured away from the melody on "I'll Be Home For Christmas" for fellow steel players, but returned to the melody at the end.

Add my accolades to the list. This track a glistening, smooth, satisfying piece. Reggie's style is so nice, I only hope to sound like that someday.

I too, am not sure how I've missed this thread until just now! I just listened to this ( THE FIRST TIME ) about an hour ago! Absolutely "Great Rendition" of one of the most beautiful Christmas songs there is, in my opinion. Great Job Reggie. I'll be e-mailing you to get a C.D. I'm "Very Interested" in listening to the other selections on it.
Good Luck & God Bless

I finally heard this track last night. I give it a 10. It's beautiful. Reggie's single string work is flawless, wonderful tone, just the right usage of effects, and an expressive touch like that of Emmons, Byrd, and Tutmarc. This is a very fine piece of steel work, it ought to be on the radio!

Thanks Reggie....Have finally overcome the "gremlins" that have prevented my from listening to your work....and it was well worth the time and effort. Beautiful interpretation of traditional Christmas songs, tasteful arrangements, and rather than repeat all the good things already said I'll just say I agree with all of them. It made me wish it wasn't another year until Christmas again. www.genejones.com

I have a chance to hear alot of his other playing & get to jam with him from time to time over at his dads house which is a very fine player to. If ya'll ever get a chance to visit the restaurant were Reggie plays ,Do it . Fine food & the house band is awesome.

Some of you have complained that I didn't put a picture of me on the CD. We you asked for it! Now you know why! This pic was snapped by a patron the other night at my gig. http://www.myezboard.com/projects/ezboard/ezboard_userimages/pedalsteelguitar/images/reggieduncan.jpg
