Mark, do you mean Best On Suite Endtables or Bring Other Sound Equipment?

I agree with you that the "M.I" gear from JBL is a big step down for them and that many other manufacturers are delivering more bang for the buck in that market.

There was a time when those of us in pursuit of excellent audio had to build our own cabinets and buy raw drivers to load them with - back in the day when JBL sold ONLY drivers and crossovers. Of course, a lot of us had to build our own mixers in those days as well....

I have some old L-222's that I love . Dont care much for my LSR stuff, its just ok.
If you judge a speaker by the corners and handles the low line JBL stuff is not too good. Just an attempt to get by on the name IMO. Lots of that these days.
The pro gear is another matter. Top drawer stuff.
