Our soundman has a short Y cable that takes 2 Lo-Z outs to one line. We use that to run my Stereo Steel Lo-z outs to one input on the board.
I personnaly prefer using 2 cords and 2 channels to keep the stereo image, but the techno-geekage in our sound crew often try to tell me it won't make a differnce at FOH.

Has anyone else noticed that the effects level on the Lo-Z outs is slightly hotter than what you hear through the speakers?

Mel,

Congratulations ! I'll bet you will really like Gerry's system and after you have some time using it , let us know what you think of it !

I will give you this advise also . NEVER take the little fan cover protection off to clean the fan . That protection is held on by screws and nuts that are inside the amp itself . If you try and take off the protective fan cover , those nuts will fall back into the amp and you have yourself a long take down of the amp .You absolutely cannot let those nuts float around inside the amp cabinet !! If they happen to hit the wrong connection , you have lost a very fine amp !! You can buy canned compressed air from most all computer shops .Just use that to blow off the little fan blades . Just remember what I have suggested after you have played this system for awhile and see that the fan ( that's the one that turns on when you start your amp and it is necessary to keep your amp temp. cool when you are playing it) has accumulated
a little dirt on the blades .You can also get some long Q-tips from Radio Shack to clean them -- just DON'T take the little cover off the fan !!!!!!

I sure hope you enjoy your new system as much as I have mine ! Tell Gerry Hi for me if you talk to him !!

Regards ,

John

I have tried the Fender Ultimate Chorus. It sounds fine for a solid state amp if thats what one wants. It has that stereo sound but I like tubes so try it you may love the sound. The amp really has that FENDER sound for pedal steel.

Thanks for your reply Mel. I e-mailed Gerry and he is also sending me a price list on his different equipment. From what I am reading here on the forum, Gerry's stereo set-up would be a great piece of equipment to play your PSG through. Also sounds like a good person to do business with.
