The Whole World Comes To Me, is on of my favorites also. I talked to Ron Elliot Friday night. He was devistated. He told me Jack, was a great caring, and giving person. It's sad but Jack is in a better place. Hopefully his music will live.

I actually got to see and hear Jack at the Opry in 2000, the year after I started playing steel. He sang "There Goes My Everything" that Saturday night and it was awesome! I remember seeing an episode of the Opry in 2001 when Jack was on there, along with BR5-49 and Hal Ketchum. That night, he sang one of my favorite songs, "Statue Of A Fool". Jack will be missed.

Jack was the ultimate singer to back. His phrasing was incredible. He left you a lot of room to fill. We enjoyed his music in Florida many times.
He was a hard working trooper and will be sadly missed, but he left us a lot of good music.

I was just sitting here listening to music on my IPod when Jacks version of the Last Letter played. I think he had one of the best versions of the song I have ever heard. Had to play it several times and each time remembered what a great talent he was. He will be missed.
