Oh so sad.
Been out of touch here lately, but remember Farris fondly.
I did speak with him once from France, when he went into the ALF,
a serious toll call for sure, but I knew he hated being there and
figured the gesture would cheer him up a notch, and give him
a story to tell around the place.

RIP Possum King.
DLD, Chili farmer. Plus bananas and papaya too.

Real happiness has no strings attached.
But pedal steels have many!

I haven't been on the forum for a few days. I just came back from Indiana where I visited with my oldest son and family. Also she's the first of my grandchildren to be confirmed at the church. It was a moving day.

Roy and I many times visited with Farris. His sense of humor was awesome. Maybe that's why he got along so well with Roy...he was always telling jokes too.

I pray God will keep His loving arms around his family and comfort them. Believe me, I know how hard it is!

You will be missed Farris.

I finally found it!!!
Here is the picture of Farris and Tommy at the Lakeland show in 2010. He's wearing the t-shirt everyone signed.....
